Reflective blog about the Outsiders
I have worked in groups before but mostly with groups here in the school and with the classmates that I know. But this was the first time I worked in a group that has the people i’m working with out of the state and with the communication only being the internet through IM messaging like meebo. I believe that it was a good experience sort of a good experience for me and I don’t know about my classmates, but o think it was an okay experience. For my own personal opinion, I would say that it wasn’t such a pleasant time king in the group which I will explain later in my paragraph. There wasn’t any really favorite part that I had in the project. I would say the only kind of favorite part of this project was when we learned how to use chatting like meebo, or just working with other people, and probably making a voice thread. My least favorite part of the project was when we couldn’t agree or even contact the Canadian kids that we worked with. or especially in our group when we couldn’t reach them in any way or when they wouldn’t respond at all when we tried to contact them, and especially when they wouldn’t upload the pictures to our deleted voicethred but finally one of the people we worked with uploaded pictures. What I would change about this though would be the order we did our assignments. What I mean by this is like that we should have been more organized so we could’ve been done earlier. But no matter how it might sound that I wasn’t that excited about this, I learned a little bit about this. I learned a little it about friendship and how to use meebo, and lastly, I learned how to work with other people that I don’t really know or what I really mean is that I learned to work with people that I haven’t met. But yeah I learned about this, and glad this project is over. Hopefully we do something similar. But differently.
